Mesilla Valley Christian School senior Steele Schweinebraten has committed to play golf at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.
Schweinebraten,17, served as captain of the Son Blazer varsity golf team and was a great role model for his teammates. He was named 2019 ACSI Distinguished Christian Student Athlete and was recipient of the 2019 Sun Country Foundation Jack Hardwick Sportsman of the Year Award. A dedicated student, Schweinebraten carries a 3.6 GPA and plans to earn a B.A. in Sports Management and Exercise Science.
