SouthWest Organizing Project and Citizens for Non-Partisan Civic Engagement will host a non-partisan forum for the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s race 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Palacios, 2600 Avenida de Mesilla.
Candidates Kim Stewart (incumbent) and Byron Hollister (challenger) have confirmed their attendance and take questions from community members and a selected panel of community leaders.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for voters to come out and meet the candidates and ask questions,” said Arturo Uribe, organizer for SouthWest Organizing Project.
