Sleeve Up Las Cruces Campaign Continues

Posted

The City of Las Cruces continued its front line efforts against COVID-19 with a new campaign, unveiled at the Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market this past weekend. City staff created the “Sleeve Up Las Cruces” campaign to create more awareness about the COVID-19 vaccines and to help residents register for the vaccinations with the help of staff and volunteers.

After a successful introduction at the Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market, staff and volunteers will be onsite at other locations around Las Cruces for the next several weeks in addition to the Farmers Market. Current locations include grocery stores, home improvement stores, and superstores.

Please visit the following webpage: https://www.las-cruces.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=4794 to view all locations (which are subject to change). Or simply visit the Hot Topic section of the City's webpage Las-Cruces.Org.

Registering for a COVID-19 vaccination will help residents put their name on the list to receive a an appointment for the vaccination as soon as they become available for each individual's vaccine group. Information and coordination of the COVID-19 vaccination is done through the New Mexico Department of Health and the City of Las Cruces is proud to assist residents in getting information and getting registered.

For more information on vaccine registration visit https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org or New Mexico residents can call 1-855-600-3453 for help with the registration process if they do not have internet access.
