IN EFFECT Gallery will present “Spring Fling – A Traditional Art Show” May 5-7, gallery owner Dennis Lujan said.
The event’s opening reception is 6-10 p.m. Friday, May 5, with additional showings 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 6-7.
The show is in a private home at 3390 Apple Cross Place in Mesilla Park, which provides “a truly unique social and art experience,” Lujan said.
This show will offer the works of more than two dozen artists from around the region with more than 100 pieces of art in a variety of media, from oils and acrylics to stained glass, ceramics and more, he said.
Artists are not given a theme for the show, Lujan said. Instead, they are asked to “bring their best,” he said. “This approach allows for an eclectic offering for all tastes.”
Artists are given the opportunity to leave their art for the month of May, with viewings by appointment.
