Bulletin report
The New Mexico Human Services Department (NMHSD) has published Data Book Volume 2.
The publication is a summary of social, economic and health statistics for New Mexico, NMHSD said in a news release.
“The 2021 Data Book contains an abundance of information that can be used to drive evidence‐based policy and legislation to positively transform the lives of New Mexicans,” said NMHSD Sec. David R. Scrase, M.D. “Transparency and fact-based information help us identify our state’s areas of greatest need to develop policy solutions that address those needs.”
The Data Book includes 2020 highlights from NMHSD’s Aging and Long-Term Services and Children, Youth and Families departments; a wide range of demographic, health and socioeconomic indicators at the state and county levels; and NMHSD program enrollments.
