Posted

Las Crucen Clayton Flowers was feted Dec. 17 at a reception hosted by the NAACP Doña Ana County Branch. Flowers, a former Tuskegee Airman, turned 104 on Christmas Day. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps, a precursor to the U.S. Air Force.
