Studio Art Classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art

The Las Cruces Museum of Art is excited to announce that registration for Fall 2020 Virtual Studio Art Programs classes is open. Classes will be held weekly November 4 to December 19 over Zoom with live instruction for only $15.

The Studio Art Programs classes exist to give our community access to creative learning opportunities. Children, teens, and adults learn a new skill and enhance their knowledge while guided by local, experienced, and qualified professional artists.

Discover your artist within through class options including “Elements of Art and Design” (ages 18+), “Sculpture” (grades 3-5), and “Drawing and Painting” (grades 6-8). Classes are offered to all levels of artists. Classes fill up fast, so register early!

Registration must be completed at the Museum of Nature & Science at 411 North Main Street. Students must register in person during the hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Registration ends October 28.

All visitors are required to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of social distancing when entering the museum. The Museum System is only accepting credit card payments at this time.

The Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Main Street and open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 4:30pm. For additional information, visit the website at: museums.las-cruces.org or call 575-541-2137.
