The Association hosts motivational speaker Matt Rush at Sept. 22 fall training

The Association will host New Mexico rancher and nationally recognized motivational speaker Matt Rush as its Elevate You in 2022 keynote speaker.

The event is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road.

Attendance is included in The Association membership. For all others, tickets are $35.

“Matt Rush has the most positive, powerful and contagious energy! I can’t wait for our members to experience it," said The Association co-founder Marci Dickerson.

The event will include two training sessions with Rush. The morning session, “Who Did You Say You Are?" is a personality seminar focused on which is more important, having a message or having a message heard, said Dickerson and The Association co-founder Sumer Rose-Nolen.

The afternoon session comes from Rush’s book, “A Stress Free You,” as he explores women’s power, presence, persistence and opportunities, “reminding women that they are in control of their own destiny and giving them the tools to navigate it,” Dickerson and Rose-Nolen said.

The Association is a women's professional development and networking group started in Las Cruces in 2020. It includes VIP members – female business owners, CEOs, CFOs – and general members who benefit from direct connection with their more seasoned and successful colleagues, said Rose-Nolen, owner of SRN Financial Services. Dickerson owns The Game, Game II and Dickerson’s Catering.
