The Emporium reopens. After a long COVID-19 break, the Emporium, 106 S. Water St., will re-open Thursday, Sept. 10, said volunteer Heather Pollard. Temporary hours will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Longer hours are expected later. The Emporium opened in June 2015 and generates about $6,000 a month to benefit Mesilla Valley Hospice. For more information and to inquire about donating to The Emporium, call 575-523-4700.
