Bulletin report

The Hood, 3206 Harrelson St., will host its first-ever "Projection Screen Art Project," 5-9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, as 14 local artists contribute one-of-a-kind art pieces that will be available for purchase.

Part of the proceeds from the sales of these pieces will be donated to local nonprofits Make-a-Wish New Mexico, El Caldito Soup Kitchen and Coats for Kids of Las Cruces.

The event will also include a sale on most of the merchandise at The Hood. Its inventory now includes 2022 Calendars by Konsuela Carpenter, new artwork by Darryl Willison, Chris Bardey and Dan Diemer and new jewelry by Seattle-based artist Carolyn Buss.
