Thursday is last day to apply for absentee ballots; early, in-person voting continues through Saturday

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot to vote in the 2020 primary. Visit https://portal.sos.state.nm.us/OVR/WebPages/AbsenteeApplication.aspx or www.donaanacounty.org/elections/elections-info (click on NMVote.org) to request an absentee ballot. Ballots must be delivered to the county clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on election day, which is Tuesday, June 2.

Vote early at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd. 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 28-30. Vote early at these alternate voting locations, open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. through Saturday, May 30: Anthony City Hall, 820 Highway 478, Anthony, N.M.; Dolores C. Wright Educational Center, 400 E. Lisa Drive, Chaparral; Doña Ana Community College, Sunland Park, 3365 McNutt Road, Sunland Park; Hatch High School, 170 E. Herrera Road, Hatch; in Las Cruces: 1) City Hall, 700 N. Main St.; 2) Corbett Center, NMSU campus; 3) Sonoma Elementary School, 4201 Northrise Drive; 4) the county building listed above. Same-day voter registration is available at all these locations.
