TODAY, Nov. 19: Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra virtual event

The Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra, which like so many others had to postpone their current season, is holding a special online event at 7 p.m. this Thursday, Nov. 19, Mountain Time through our website, www.lascrucessymphony.com

This virtual performance and fundraiser will achieve two goals: staying connected with audiences and helping the symphony raise funds to meet ongoing expenses and be able to make plans for a season in 2021. The support of people like you will help keep the symphony blooming in the desert!

Music Director/Conductor Lonnie Klein has curated 26 excerpts of some of our most memorable performances to share with you on Thursday. There will be special messages from Lonnie, Board President Barb Ross, and several LCSO musicians.

Since this is a virtual performance and fundraiser, there will be the opportunity to make donations online while enjoying the music. If you give at the $100 or more level, you will receive a special gift: a commemorative DVD/CD set of the musical performances.

To participate go online to www.lascrucessymphony.com  The feed will be active for a while so you can watch it later . . . or again.
