Tresco Inc. contracts division has been renamed Tresco Works.
The division has offered employment opportunities to persons with varying disabilities through federal, state and commercial agreements/partnerships, Tresco said in a news release.
Tresco said the old name, contracts, “did not give a clear explanation and representation of what our true impact was in our communities,” so it was changed.
“Over the past several months the Tresco leadership team held a number of focus groups with individuals from various industries to get a better understanding of the connection between our work and our name,” the news release said.
Tresco Works has more than 230 full-time and part-time individuals that provide quality custodial, grounds and total facility management services for more than 50 federal, state, city and commercial contracts across New Mexico.
“We are proud of the 30 years of service we have provided and looking forward to another 30 years as Tresco Works. We have an amazing team that enjoys coming to work, takes pride in being part of the workforce and has a strong sense of purpose in all they do,” said Tresco Works Director Luis Rios.
