The Doña Ana County Humane Society's (DACHS) Yappy Easter Scavenger Hunt will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, DACHS said in an email.
DACHS will post a scavenger-hunt list on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/DonaAnaCountyHumaneSociety.
Once the list is posted, grab your pet and start your hunt! Once you find an item on the list, take a photo of you or your pet with the item and post the photo in the comment section of the Facebook post with the list.
The first participant to find all the scavenger-hunt items will win a prize, with prizes also given for two of the most creative finds.
There is a $5 suggested donation to participate in the Yappy Easter Scavenger Hunt event that will support DACHS and our programs that Keep People and Pets Together. You can donate at www.dachslc.org/donate.
