14 apply for Doña Ana county clerk position

Fourteen people have applied to fill the vacancy left by Doña Ana County Clerk Scott A. Krahling’s resignation, which takes effect Friday, Sept. 7, according a press release from the county.

The deadline to apply was Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m.

The applicants are:

The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center for its first regular meeting of the month. The first agenda item is discussion of the process to fill the vacancy and, if appropriate, announce a selection.

Applicants who attend the meeting will be given a brief opportunity to address the commission during the discussion phase of the agenda item. Public input will also be allowed.

The meeting will be streamed live on the county’s website at www.donaanacounty.org.
