Friday, March 6

11 a.m.: Workshop, “Staging Combat for Film,” with Randy Messersmith, actor and stuntman. Cineport 10

1:30 p.m.: Screenwriting workshop presented by Academy-Award Winning Screenwriter Tom Schulman. Cineport 10

3:30 p.m.: Workshop: “Breaking into Hollywood: The Do’s and Don’ts,” presented by Brian Medavoy, talent manager, entrepreneur television producer, and cofounder of More Medavoy Management with his partner, Erwin More, and Brian Espinosa, CEO and co-founder of Optimism Entertainment, where he oversees the growth and development of the company's talent, music and sports divisions. Cineport 10

5:15 p.m.: Screening of “Now or Never – A Tony Romo Story,” starring Tony Romo, chronicling his life with his family, friends, teammates and coaches, who collectively tell the improbable story of how the undrafted free agent and underdog became captain of the Dallas Cowboys.

7 p.m. Screening of “Dead Poet’s Society,” followed by a Q & A with screenwriter of the film, Tom Schulman. Shulman will receive the Mark Medoff Lifetime Achievement in Screenwriting Award. Cineport 10.

Saturday, March 7

1 p.m. Panel/Workshop: “The Women of the Man in the High Castle.” Actors Bella Heathcote (Nicole Dörmer; also Fifty Shades Darker, Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows) and Chelah Horsdal (Helen Smith) and stunt coordinator Maja Aro (also Once Upon a Time) will present a panel on Amazon Prime’s hit series. Heathcote will receive the Outstanding Achievement in Drama Award at the Awards Ceremony. Rio Grande Theatre

4 p.m.: Screening of “48 Hour Film Competition” entries. Cineport 10

4:15 p.m. Screening of “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain.” Chamberlain Sr. accidentally triggered his medical alert pendant at 5:22am. By 7 a.m., he was dead. Based on the true story of an elderly African American veteran with bipolar disorder, who was killed during a conflict with police officers who were dispatched to check on him. (Austin Film Festival Jury and Audience choice winner) Actor and producer Enrico Natale will present a Q&A after the film.

7 p.m.: Awards Ceremony: Rio Grande Theatre
