A Children’s Theatre’s ‘Kid Frankenstein’ is Oct. 21-29

A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley (ACT) will present eight performances of “Kid Frankenstein,” by Kathryn Schultz Miller, including four school performances and four public performances, Oct. 21-29, at Rio Grande Theatre, 211 N. Main St. downtown.

School performances are 9:45 a.m. and noon Fridays, Oct. 21 and 28.

The Oct. 21-22 performances feature ACT’s Red cast, said ASTC Artist Director Luis Castro. It will be directed by Jenna DerrGuitar and Mike DerrGuitar. Cast members are ages 7-16, Castro said.

ACT’s Green Cast, ages 7-15, will perform the Oct. 28-29 shows, he said, directed by Jazmin Buchman and Delaney Sivils.

Public performances are 7 p.m. Fridays, Oct. 21 and 28 and 1 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 22 and 29.

Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door. Visit achildrenstheatre.org to purchase tickets.
