The All-Original Battle of the Bands will be 6-11 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Cruces Creatives, 205 E. Lohman Ave.
Tickets are $25 online at crucescreatives.org/event-5128025 or $30 at the door. The price includes snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Food deliveries are welcome too.
The event, which will be recorded live in audio and video, celebrates local creativity while raising funds for Cruces Creatives, the nonprofit makerspace said in a news release. All proceeds after paying the winning band will go into more audio and visual gear at the makerspace, with the goal of providing even better resources to help local makers create and share their work, the news release said.
The performing bands, who will be sharing their best original songs across two rounds of competition, include Daunted Soul, Baylor Canyon, Love and the Emotions, Sister Black Lagoon and Dark Canyon Fire, Cruces Creatives said.
