UPDATE: Black Fire now at 28 percent containment

Update May 31: The Black Fire is 28 percent contained and has burned more than 246,000 acres, fire officials said.

Update:  State fire officials report that the Black Fire is now 26 percent contained and has burned more than 240,000 acres. 

The Black Fire in the Gila National Forest continues to burn at only 19 percent containment, officials said Sunday morning.
The fire covers more than 228,000 acres and is located 31 miles northwest of Truth or Consequences.

The fire has been ruled to be human caused and remains under investigation.

More than 750 firefighters are involved in fighting the blaze. So far, two structures have been lost.
