Posted

Janie Franz will be signing books at COAS Books, 317 M. Main St., on Saturday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m.-noon. She will be showcasing her latest novels, “Simple Gifts” and “Nabaril: Immersion (The Nabaril Series)”.

Can local Granny Woman Sephie Hill, who has spent most of her 85 years in Dark Hollow, Tennessee make a go of it in Riverbend, North Dakota amid a whole host of supernatural beings and possibly even a little romance? Take an exciting journey cross-country with Sephie and her protégé as they join her niece Mandy and her wife Laura to defeat the forces that have overtaken Riverbend in “Simple Gifts.”

Archaeologist Megan Forest never thought that a routine jeep ride in the Arizona desert to look for petroglyphs would slip her into a time portal dropping her into a feudal time, when women had no freedoms, and her very life becomes at risk. How will she survive and protect the information she possesses? “Nabaril: Immersion” transports you to another time and place and leads you on a journey like no other. Copies are available at the event.
