The Las Cruces Museum of Nature and Science (MONAS) will host Las Cruces Space Festival activities 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 9, at the museum, 411 N. Main St. Downtown.
MONAS will host Sunspot Observatory on the museum’s front porch, as observatory staff provide solar telescopes and binoculars for safe view of the sun, the City of Las Cruces said in a news release.
Hands-on activities in the museum gallery will help participants learn more about rocketry propulsion and other space-related topics.
No registration is necessary for the event, and the public is welcome.
MONAS is accessible from RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1 Stop 1.
