“Romance at the Rotunda” is the event’s title, as the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office and county Probate Judge’s Office partner to perform marriages Tuesday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day), at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., the clerk’s office said in a news release.
“Both offices take pride in conducting the public service of performing marriages and recording marriage licenses,” the news release said.
Officiants that day will be Probate Judge Judith Ann Baca, Chief Deputy County Clerk Caroline Zamora and Deputy Clerk Brandi Delgado.
For couples wishing to get married on Valentine’s Day, here are the steps to take:
Couples who miss the opportunity to sign up for a Feb. 14 marriage ceremony time slot or are late for their time slot can participate in a collective wedding ceremony with multiple couples at 4 p.m. Feb. 14 at the county government center. Couples must complete the marriage application and receive their blank marriage license prior to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 14 o participate.
The cost of a marriage license is $25. There is no charge to participate in the Romance at the Rotunda ceremony.
