Downtown Las Cruces Partnership asks for participation in community survey

Posted

The Downtown Las Cruces Partnership (DLCP), a nonprofit, New Mexico MainStreet organization, is asking the community to participate in its fourth annual community survey, DLCP Executive Director Jennifer L. Garcia Kozlowski said in a news release.

The survey, which has 24 questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete, “polls community members and visitors about their Downtown experiences and asks for insights on district perceptions and possible improvements,” the news release said.

The survey closes Saturday, April 30.

Take the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/Y8ZSCD5.

Those taking the survey can register to win a $25 Downtown gift card.

At the conclusion of the survey, DLCP analyzes the results, shares insights with stakeholders and uses the information to shape future projects, programs and priorities.

“This tool is mission critical,” Garcia Kozlowski said. “As a community-based economic development organization, having our fingers on the pulse of those who spend time in our district is absolutely essential and allows us to expand on our successes, create programs, recommend policy and develop data-driven solutions to issues and concerns. Providing a forum for community input allows Las Crucens to take an active role in creating their Downtown.”

“Over time, our analysis just gets better and better,” said DLCP Board Chair Robert Cruise. “We can set benchmarks and identify trends in the data.”

DLCP is located at 138 S. Water St. Call 575-525-1955. Visit www.downtownlascruces.org.
