The Las Cruces Fire Department reported that two travel trailers were damaged by fire on Wednesday afternoon on the 1300 block of McFie Avenue.
Firefighters responded at about 5:20 p.m. on March 6 and brought the fire under control within 30 minutes. The structures were unoccupied and no injuries were reported though two adults were temporarily displaced.
The trailers were both damaged and threatened two mobile homes and other outbuildings. No cause or estimates of the damage were determined as of Thursday evening.
