The Foothills Clean Landfill, 555 Sonoma Ranch Boulevard, has closed to temporarily due to “unforeseen operational issues,” per the city. valued commercial customers of the temporary closure of the facility due to unforeseen operational issues.
However, City solid waste administrators want to reassure residential customers that their services remain unaffected.
While the Foothills Landfill is committed to reopening to commercial customers as quickly as possible, we understand the inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. As an alternative, commercial customers are encouraged to utilize the South-Central Solid Waste Authority transfer station at 2865 W. Amador Ave.
For the most current information regarding the Amador transfer station's days and hours of operation, commercial customers are encouraged to visit the South-Central Solid Waste Authority website at https://www.scswa.net.
