Gallery 925 presents Potters’ Guild Holiday Market

Gallery 925 is hosting the Potters’ Guild in December for their Holiday Market. This annual show reminds that pottery makes wonderful Christmas gifts or you can fill your own stockings.

There will be an opening reception 4-8 p.m. First Friday, Dec. 1. Gallery opens at 1 p.m. at 925 N. Mesquite St. Work will be on display from Dec. 1-31.

Gallery hours are 1-5 p.m, Fridays and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Albert Alvidrez is native American and a member of Ysleta del Sur Pueblo-Tigua Indian Reservation. He will show pueblo pottery, ornaments, bowls and crosses.

Jan Archey, mother of all things pottery in Las Cruces, will be showing food safe functional & decorative stoneware along with her new Christmas ornament for 2023.

David Beattie will be showing handmade ceramics for everyday use to enrich lives with art, inspiration, and functionality.

Pam Bornhouser will be showing functional handmade pottery.

George Holland is exhibiting his Luster Raku. The pots feature his sculpted ravens, buffalo, and bear lids. Be sure and check out his new "Crackle Celadon" jade green glaze also.       

Mary Lou LaCasse will show ceramic and glass metal sculptures.

Bonnie MacQuarrie little patio tables, metal bases and hand-made tile tops, as well as some small wall pieces of tile art. Also, new red or green chile spoon rests of tile.

Vickie Morrow will show small vignettes of handmade tile mosaics, assemblages of tile and found objects.

Linda Sanchez will show ceramic mugs, vases, bowls, and platters. Also she will be selling silver, stone and beaded jewelry.

Glenn Schwaiger will show carved porcelain with celadon, high fire clay and glazes along with functional pieces such as cups, bowls, mugs and handcrafted tile.

Artists Talks and demos will be announced on Facebook and Instagram beginning Dec. 4.

Gallery 925 is in the Mesquite Historical District near the corner of Spruce Street.
