With the May 12 signing of Denijay Harris, a 6-7 senior forward transfer from Southern Mississippi, New Mexico State’s men’s basketball team now has seven players on its roster.
That follows the May 9 signing of 6-10 senior Kaosi Ezeagu, who played at Sam Houston, Kansas State and nearby UTEP. Ezeagu is originally from the Bahamas, but played prep ball at Chattanooga, Tenn., and Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
The signees of new Aggie coach Jason Hooten now include Harris, Ezeagu, 6-6 senior guard Brandon Suggs, 6-2 junior guard Jaylin Jackson-Posey, 6-7 senior forward Clarence “Monzy” Jackson, 6-5 freshman guard Keylon Dorsey, and 6-4 junior guard Jaden Harris.
Hooten brought Kenneth Mangrum to NMSU as associate head coach, as well as two assistant coaches: Payne Andrus and Zach Settembre.
