Hope springs eternal

Las Cruces native Nazario Sandoval, whose pseudonym is “wemf,” painted this mural, which he depicts as “a simple and artistic message of hope” at the southwest corner of South Solano Drive and East May Avenue. Nazario said the mural is designed to spread a positive message and keep community spirits up during the COVID-19 outbreak. Now living in Albuquerque, Nazario is a full-time professional mural artist who frequently donates his talents and skills to promote positive messaging through art and culture.
