Doña Ana County Humane Society News Release
Are you ready for a Spooktacular night in with your four-legged friends? Join the DACHS from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21 on Facebook for virtual Yappy Hour event, Yappy Halloween!
We have seen some incredible costumes over the years, and even though this event is virtual, we are still holding our annual costume contest.
Please dress your pets (and yourselves) up in your favorite Halloween costumes, take a photo, and post it in the comment section of our Facebook post the day of our event. A group of external judges will be selecting the top three costumes and we will be sending prizes to the winners of the contest, so make sure and bring your favorite Halloween looks.
While our in-person Yappy Hour events are still on hold, the work your Doña Ana County Humane Society continues to do for the people and pets of our community does not stop. You can still make a difference by supporting programs that save the lives of pets, help seniors find a furry shelter companion, and provide training for shelter dogs who need extra help adjusting to their new homes. You can make an impact by clicking here!
Also, a huge thank you goes out to our generous virtual Yappy Halloween sponsors Aprendamos Intervention Team and Citizens Bank of Las Cruces! Their support for our programs and for our community is very much appreciated.
