Las Cruces Beer Festival is 6 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Aug. 12, at Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 S. Main St.
Advance tickets are $30. Advance VIP tickets are $60. Prices are $5 more at the gate. Tickets for designated drivers and minors are $20.
The event is expected to include 240 local and regional craft beer selections for sampling and purchase.
The event includes DJ Rob E, 575 Band, food trucks, water pong and cornhole, local vendors, prizes and giveaways. It is hosted by El Paso comedian Jerry Karnes. Learn to dance with Las Cruces Boot Boogie Babes, 5:30-6 p.m.
Love Las Cruces Car Show is 5-9 p.m. on Main St. $20 donation to Love Las Cruces nonprofit gets free entry to the festival. The show will include customs, classics and lowriders, cars, trucks and bikes.

Love Las Cruces supports community gardens, food pantries, graffiti cleanup and trust pickup in Las Cruces, along with murals by local artists.
