Mesilla Valley Chorale (MVC) will begin rehearsals Monday, Sept. 11, for its holiday concert, "Swinging into the Holidays,” slated for Sunday, Dec. 3, at Rio Grande Theatre, 211 N. Main St.
The Sept. 11 rehearsal will begin at 6:30 p.m. All following rehearsals will be held 7-9 p.m. Mondays. Rehearsals will be held in the choir room at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 225 W. Griggs Ave.
MVC is under the direction of Carol Nike and is accompanied by Charlotte Johnson. Judy Bethmann is returning as assistant director after a year's sabbatical. Asa Cleveland, who also sings with the chorale, will be assistant accompanist.
MVC is a mixed-voice, eight-part (SS/AA/TT/BB) diverse group of singers who share a passion for performing choral music.
