Law enforcement officers pitched in to guide traffic, clean up diesel fuel and detritus from under the I-10/Avenida de Mesilla bridge where a tractor/trailer rig landed on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 28 after hitting a light pole on the highway and dropping down onto the road below. According to state police, the 68 year old driver was transported to an area hospital with injuries.
