New Game coming downtown

Posted

Lucky Dog Billiards at 245 E. Lohman Ave. will soon become The Game Billiards, said Marci Dickerson, owner of The Game restaurants in Las Cruces.

“We’re very excited to expand the Game brand and provide another level of entertainment for our community,” said Dickerson, who purchased the operation from the previous owners. The venue is currently closed, but the new operation is expected to be open around mid-October.

“Will have some updates and upgrades, but our goal is it will remain the same great time for billiards and darts, and we’re also adding ping pong,” Dickerson said.

As far as food, The Game Billiards will keep the spirit of game hall food, similar to the previous operation, “But we will bring some Game favorites,” Dickerson said. “We’ve been looking to expand into downtown for a while, and  this gives us a great opportutnity to participate in the downtown nightlife.”
