Children at La Casa shelter for victims of domestic violence probably have a little more spring in their step thanks to the Dona Ana chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, whose members coordinated shoe donations as their 2020 National Day of Service Project. The donation included 136 pairs of children's shoes, 31 pairs of adult shoes and 21 purses. La Casa Event Coordinator Pamela Strobbe (pictured) said the shelter was grateful.
