Baseball:
NM State hosts Stephen F. Austin in a trio of weekend WAC games Friday through Sunday, April 14-16, at Presley Askew Field. Both the Friday and Saturday games have 6 p.m. starts, and Sunday is a noon game.
Following that, the Aggies will host the University of New Mexico in a midweek non-conference game 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Presley Askew Field.
The Aggies are 6-21* overall and 4-11 in conference after xxxxx the University of Arizona April 11 in Tucson.
Prior to the Arizona game, NM State won one of three games April 6-8 at home against Cal Baptist. A five-run outburst in the eighth inning fueled the Aggies to a 13-17 victory April 8.
Softball:
NM State xxx UTEP Tuesday, April 11, X-X in El Paso. That followed a weekend with the Aggies winning two games at home against Western Athletic Conference opponent Sam Houston April 7 and 8. NMSU swept a doubleheader against Sam Houston Friday, April 7, winning 9-6 and 10-8, but fell in the April 8 series finale 7-4.
After the UTEP game, NMSU is 17-16* overall and 6-6. The Aggies are on the road April 14-15 against WAC foe Tarleton.
