The New Mexico State University Dance Program and the Department of Kinesiology will present “Connections,” a concert of new repertory by Dance Program faculty and graduating seniors beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, April 20-22, at the Rentfrow Studio Theatre, 3161 Williams Ave. on the NMSU campus.
General admission is $10. Student admission is $5.
Tickets may be purchased online at commerce.cashnet.com/connections. Tickets sold at the door before each performance will be cash only.
The concert will feature NMSU’s Contemporary Dance and DanceSport performance companies in styles including ballroom and Latin dance, modern dance, flamenco, jazz, tap and hip hop, said Dance Program Interim Director Amy Wright, who is directing “Connections.”
“’Connections’ is a celebration of dance at NMSU, as Dance Program students return to the Rentfrow Studio Theatre stage in their first live performance since 2019,” Wright said.
