Road, lane closures - Red Hawk Golf Road, White Sage Arc and Sonoma Ranch Boulevard, Walnut Street:

Red Hawk Golf Road

A portion of Red Hawk Golf Road between Portrait Street and Elite Road will continue to be closed until Thursday, Aug. 10, the City of Las Cruces said in a news release.  A detour will be in effect during the closure.

Renegade Construction will be completing the crossing at Red Hawk Golf Road with a new sewer main at Peachtree Hills Road. Once the new sewer main has been backfilled the removed roadway will be repaved.

The road closure will not affect RoadRUNNER Transit.

White Sage Arc and Sonoma Ranch Boulevard Lane closures

White Sage Arc will be closed to traffic entering or exiting by way of north Sonoma Ranch Boulevard.

Additionally, the outermost lanes of northbound and southbound Sonoma Ranch Boulevard will be closed at White Sage Arc. The closures begin Monday, Aug. 7, and will continue for approximately four weeks, the city said.

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the closures. Motorists are urged to follow all posted signs.

Smith and Aguirre Construction will be working on median improvements in this area.

The work and closures will not affect RoadRUNNER Transit or transit stops.

Walnut Street Lane closure

An eastbound lane closure will occur along Walnut Street, from Capitan Avenue to approximately 370 feet along Kilmer Street, Monday Aug. 7, and Tuesday Aug. 8, the city said.

Volt Inc. will be working as part of a wire permit.

The lane closure will impact the RoadRUNNER Transit routes 6 and 7.
