Casa de Peregrinos (CdP) emergency food program’s fifth annual Hunger Strike is Thursday-Friday, Sept. 21-22. There is still time to sign up to help CdP reach this year’s fundraising goal.
Hunger Strike is “instrumental in bringing attention to the issue of hunger and food insecurity (in Las Cruces and Doña Ana County), helping us make significant strides toward a hunger-free community,” CdP said in a news release. We believe that by uniting once again, we can make an even greater impact and work towards a future where no one in our community has to go to bed hungry.”
