Survey seeks guidance on school culture, climate

Posted

Las Cruces Public Schools is asking parents, community members, staff and select students to share their thoughts and perceptions of the district’s culture and learning environment.

The 2022 Culture and Climate Survey is open now, available using this link. The survey is available in English and Spanish and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Questions include, but are not limited to, feelings on safety, student access to technology and resources, and how the school district positions itself about discipline and respect.

The survey is open to students in the 6th through 12th grades, all LCPS parents, community members and LCPS staff. Answers collected during the survey are confidential and will be used for research purposes to ensure LCPS is meeting the needs of parents, students and staff and that those needs are consistent with district goals.

The deadline to respond to the survey is Friday, Nov. 18.
