The Las Cruces Lodge of Elks 1119 recently donated $3,500 to the Casa De Peregrinos

Casa de Peregrinos has a long and respected history of service in Las Cruces and Doña Ana County. Their programs include:

• Providing food baskets of rice, flour, cheese, beans, and tortillas to needy families on a weekly basis
• Assist families with school aged children during the summer holiday when they do not have access to free/reduced cost meals through the school system
• Operate 21 mobile pantries throughout Doña Ana County to serve students and seniors

The Las Cruces Lodge of Elks 1119 recently donated $2,000 to the EL Caldito Soup Kitchen

El Caldito's mission is to provide a healthy meal daily, in a safe and clean environment, for any hungry person. Their vision is to continue to fight hunger by providing nutritious meals to our community until the need no longer exists. El Caldito is a “soup kitchen”. A hot nutritious meal is served daily, Sunday through Friday, to everyone who comes to our dining room for lunch.  A take-out sack lunch is offered on Saturdays.
