Luminarias Light Up the Desert

The Asombro Institute for Science Education invites you to stroll along the paved, ADA-accessible trail lit with over 400 luminarias, while darkness settles over the desert, then enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, a pop-up gift shop, and marshmallow roasting.

Drag Queen Christmas

Hi Lo Silvers Christmas Concert

The Hi Lo Silvers will present their annual free Christmas concert, singing all your favorite seasonal hits, directed by Nada Dates, and featuring Rhonda Gorog on piano, Becky Harwood on bass, and Melinda McClanahan on percussion.

Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra December Chamber Concert

The symphony’s strings are highlighted, conducted by guest violinist David Felberg, and featuring four compositions, two of which are reinterpretations of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” by Max Richter and Astor Piazzola.

Victorian Christmas and More

The Silver City Museum brings the past alive by converting their courtyard into a 19th century plaza, where festive foods, arts and crafts vendors, children's activities, and beautiful Victorian costumes set the scene for a beloved tradition.

Elephant Butte’s Luminaria Beachwalk

The Friends of Elephant Butte organize and host this 28th annual event, featuring thousands of luminarias and beach bonfires under the stars, along with free hot cider, hot chocolate, chile, posole, green chile stew, sweet treats and more.

In the final installment of the film noir series, the Mesilla Valley Film Society brings the 1961 thriller back to the big screen, following a hired killer who arrives in New York City for a contract murder during the Christmas season.

Young at Heart Chorus
