Bureau of Elections supervisor retires after a quarter century with Doña Ana County

Andy Perez was recognized at the Feb. 22 Doña Ana County Commission meeting for 25 years of service to the county.

Perez retired March 1.

“Andy has worked almost his entire adult life for the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office is many capacities, most recently as supervisor of the Bureau of Elections,” County Clerk Amanda López Askin said. “His hard work and dedication to the work that our office is tasked with has been invaluable. I greatly appreciate his commitment to elections in our community and he will be sorely missed. He has certainly earned his retirement and we wish him the best,” López Askin said.
