The city of Las Cruces’ parks and recreation department announced plans for a three-day Thanksgiving week camp for children of Kindergarten age through fifth grade, with registration opening Friday, Nov. 15.
The day camp will provide indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts and games, as well as breakfast and lunch. Participating children are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, pillow and blanket.
The camp will meet from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Wednesday, Nov. 25-27, at the Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Avenue.
Once registration opens Friday, it will remain open until available spaces are filled. There is a $20 fee for each child signed up, due at registration, per a news release from the city.
