Coats for Kids of Las Cruces fundraiser

Posted

Transformer Bumblebee was on hand Friday morning, Oct. 6, at Pool Tech, 2331 E. Lohman Ave. for a Coats for Kids of Las Cruces fundraiser and 101 Gold radio live remote. Members of local Knights of Columbus encouraged drivers going by on Lohman Avenue to stop and make a donation or tune in to the broadcast. Other Coats for Kids partners D2 Designs, Comet Cleaners and Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico were also on hand. 2023 is Coats for Kids’ 29th year in Las Cruces. Donations of new and gently used coats sizes infant to XL can dropped off at Coats for Kids collection boxes in more than a dozen locations in Las Cruces, Mesilla and Mesilla Park. Cash donations are also accepted. Coats for Kids has provided more than 60,000 coats since it began and hopes to collect at least 3,000 coats to be given to children from birth to fifth grade this year.
