The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will host Spooky Splash Movie Nights from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday nights in October at the Las Cruces Natatorium, 1405 E. Hadley Ave. Friday, Oct. 17: “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” (2018), rated PG. Admission is one unopened, non perishable food item per person. Items will be checked for expiration dates upon entry. All donations will benefit the local food bank. Proper swimwear is required. Children 8 and under must be accompanied in the pool by an adult age 18 or older, with a ratio of one adult for every two children. NMSU Music Department Presents University Singers Concert Choir. Dr. Alex Gerleman conducts the University Singers and Concert Choir in Garden of Love, a free concert on October 17 at 7:30 pm at Atkinson Recital Hall. The students will be accompanied by Seth Zamora, collaborative pianist, in a varied program of contemporary and classic works for voice. 1075 N. Horseshoe Circle, Las Cruces.

The Branigan Cultural Center is pleased to announce a new exhibit, Toys in the Attic, featuring a wide range of books, toys, and games made between 1900 to the mid-1970s. All pieces in the exhibit are from the Las Cruces Museum’s permanent collection. The exhibit opens on Saturday, October 18, and runs through Saturday, January 24, 2026. 501 N. The City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department, Las Cruces Public Art program, and the City Art Board invite the community to the dedication ceremony of Allochory, the public art sculpture recently installed on the exterior of City Hall. The ceremony will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, October 20 at City Hall, 700 N. Main St.
