Construction Update: Crews to Pave Two Inside Lanes of Westbound
US 70/North Main Street Wednesday, March 26-Saturday, March 29,2025
Crews are scheduled to pave the inside two lanes of westbound US 70/North Main Street beginning in the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2025 and lasting through Saturday, March 28, 2025.
During this work, only one outside lane of US 70/North Main Street will be open between Elks Drive and North Solano/Three Crosses Road.
Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences during construction.
The speed limit is reduced to 35 miles per hour throughout the construction zone.
Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution in the construction zone, obey lower posted speed limits and allow extra time to reach their destinations.
Regular work hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m., although the contractor may work longer hours or on weekends if needed.
The project is expected to be completed mid-April 2025.
