Posted

Coronavirus is impacting day-to-day lives. Each day brings new information.

KRWG Public Media has launched a weekly radio program to address questions on how Coronavirus is impacting Las Cruces and New Mexico State University.

“Voice of the Public: Coronavirus Update” airs Fridays, 1-2 p.m., on 90.7 FM and krwg.org, featuring local guests who have insight with regards to Coronavirus.

"KRWG Public Media is pleased to offer this weekly program as a chance for listeners to ask questions regarding this important story,” said Fred Martino, KRWG’s director of content. “For those who don't want to call in, we have the opportunity to participate on Facebook with questions and comments. In advance of the broadcast, listeners may also email questions to feedback@nmsu.edu"

Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagishima was the inaugural guest of the program on March 27. NMSU President John Floros will be on air Friday, April 3.

KRWG’s website features a page devoted to COVID-19 content, www.krwg.org.
