The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program hosted the Senior Soirée for adults aged 55+ on Saturday, May 2, at Munson Senior Center, 975 S. Mesquite St.
The event included a live DJ, dancing, a billiards tournament, a free brisket meal, cornhole, a photo booth, door prizes and best-dressed/dancer awards. There were tables at the event manned by local providers giving free health checks and providing information about Medicare, Electronic Caregiver, hearing issues, diabetes, stroke and cardiac care and much more. Including door prizes, the event had more than 20 donors.
