Las Cruces actor and comedian Teddy Aspen will perform his improvisation program “Come Play with Me” Saturday, Aug. 23, to benefit the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4038 (FOE) Angel Tree Account, which purchases Christmas presents for needy children in the Las Cruces area. The program begins at 8 p.m. and will be held at the FOE dance hall, 980 N. 17th St. The suggested donation is $10 (cash accepted at the door before the performance). In the show, Aspen will invite people in the audience to play improv games with him on stage from topics suggested by the audience. Opening the show will be U.S. Army veteran and nationally touring comedienne Sha Rita. Food will be available for purchase before the show, with proceeds from food sales benefitting local programs and events. The fundraiser is co-sponsored by FOE #4038 and RC Gaming LLC. For more information, email Aspen at theoaspen@hotmail.com.
