Unimaginable contributions from officials, volunteers, sponsors, employees, vendors, exhibitors, airport tenants, media representatives, businesses, elected officials, state and local governments plus local fans and friends from afar made SkyFiesta an event that exceeded expectations.
Here is what we experienced:
More than 10,000 event attendees on Saturday and 1,000+ appreciated Founders on Friday. More than 4,000 engaged youth in attendance. More than 1,500 veterans honored. And if we could count we could count them - at least 500,000 smiles.
More than 750,000 social media impressions and engagements made in the months prior to SkyFiesta and a continuing following. 200,000+ ears reached with radio advertising spots and frequency.
Eight-eight aviation sorties executed safely with spellbinding showmanship and professionalism at the Las Cruces International Airport, which is so well-suited for a growing SkyFiesta.
Attendees and performers representing the United States, Canada, and Mexico. U.S. States represented in attendance included New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, New York, Idaho, California, Arizona, Virginia, Missouri, Florida, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Minnesota, and South Dakota.
Participants included 22 air racing competitors and their crews. 12 performers and their air crews. 11 pyrotechnic specialists. 11 dedicated crash fire rescue and first responders. 24 pylon judges. 40+ infrastructure and hospitality providers. More than 50 vendors and food trucks, 26 static displays, 15+ leaders and dozens of core volunteers dedicated to bringing SkyFiesta to fruition.
Economic impacts delivered to the City of Las Cruces, Old Town Mesilla and the Mesilla Valley. Multiple sold out hotels and bustling restaurants. Local businesses engaged. Regional impacts for Dona Ana County, El Paso Airport, Santa Teresa Jetport and the War Eagles Museum.
And, a concluding 1,000-foot firewall to sear all these accomplishments in our memories.
If you missed this one, you'll want to be there next year. SkyFiesta returns Oct. 16-17, 2026.
